NAG 1 FRAZER TAKES TWO SILVER MEDALS ON THE OPENING DAY OF THE NATIONAL AGE GROUPS In his first year at the National Age Groups Frazer Riach (Stockport Metro) powered through to gain the county’s first medals with two well earned silvers in the 11 yrs 100m backstroke and 200m breaststroke. Lydia Hitchell (Wirral Metro) came close to a podium spot when placed fourth in the 13 yrs 1500m freestyle. Top 10 finishes were gained by Cheshire swimmers in a further 9 events through Kathleen Dawson, Hugh Takemoto, Adam Ravenscroft (all Warriors), Benjamin Cleaveley from Satellite, Isobel Woollons of Wirral Metro and Stockport Metro’s Emily Knowles-Jones, Joseph Mitchell and Joseph Harper.
