Junior Inter County Gala - Cheshire wins again - 01/02/2010

Congrates to the Junior County Team

Clear win for the Junior Cheshire team, winning by 55 points.

Thirty five swimmers where selected from clubs within Cheshire to represent their county at the recent Junior Inter County Gala held at Fenton Manor.

For twenty six swimmers it was the first time they had been selected to represent their county and were presented Cheshire County Badges by the Cheshire President Jim Wilks.

Caitlin McNicholas stepped in on the last minute to make the team complete.

All swimmers did fantastically well in their swims and supporting each other in their races while representing the County.

Placing were predominately 1st & 2nds. The relay teams did extremely well winning by a huge margin.

Ben Cleaveley (200 IM) and Daniel Hussey (100 Back) were whiskers away from National times.

3. Staffordshire ASA 150
4. Worcester County ASA 121
5. Shropshire ASA 105
