Reasons why your child should learn to swim are many and varied. You need to give your child the chance to learn to swim. The most important reason is that swimming is the only sport which can save your child’s life.

19 Opportunity - Safeguarding & Protecting Children Workshop

Cheshire County Swimming Association have organised a Safeguarding & Protecting Children Workshop on 28th Jan 2019 and are inviting both Cheshire club and non-members to attend. The cost is £10 for Cheshire Club members and £35 for all other members. To book onto the course please see the attached booklet which contains the booking form and details of the process and payment. Please share with anyone who may need to attend a safeguarding course, especially those clubs who SwimMark accreditation is due March 2019.

07 2019 Inter County Report

Cheshire swimmers faced fierce competition on their return to Division 1 of the Inter County competition held in Sheffield’s Pond Forge pool on the 6th October.
25 Cheshire County Licence Level 3 Meet withdrawals

The competition will be “cardless” and in order to assist the organisers the following withdrawal system will be in place.
31 Cheshire County WP& SA Skills Development Day

Swimmers selected are based on their Cheshire Cat / BAGCAT position and points gained at the Cheshire County Age Group Competition held earlier in the year. Where possible the top 8 boys and girls from the 10, 11 and 12 year old age groups are invited to attend. This year there were 40 swimmers able to attend the packed schedule which ran from 9 till 4.

04 Competition Secretary’s Report 2019

The Cheshire 2018/2019 season started with the Inter County competition in Sheffield in October. It was good that Cheshire won the Division 2 League and for October 2019 will be back to Division 1.
